From Russia With Love…
29-31 Jan - Moscow
31-01 Feb - On the train from Moscow to Ekaterniburg
01-04 Feb - Ekaterinburg (Including Husky Dog Sledding around the Russian countryside)
04-06 Feb - On the Train from Ekaterinburg to Irkurtsk. Tranfer to Listvyanka village, on the shore of Lake Baikal
06-08 Feb - Listvyanka village (staying in a Siberian log cabin and chasing around Siberia on snow mobiles) and then onto Irkurtsk City
08-09 Feb - On the train to from Irkrutsk to Ulan-Uday
09-11 Feb - Staying with a family in Ulan-Uday
11-12 Feb - On the train from Ulan-Uday to Ulaanbaatar. Spend some time in Ulaanbaatar and then transfer to Ger Camp
13-14 Feb - Elstei Ger Camp (visit to a Nomad family, Mongolian wrestling, horse riding and generally just hanging about with the Mongolians)
14-15 Feb - Ulaanbaatar
15-16 Feb - On the train from Ulaanbaatar to Bejing
16 Feb - Arrive at Beijing
China…
Between 16 Feb and 1st March we will be travelling around China. At the moment we plan to visit Xi’an, the three gorges, the Great Wall, the Teracotta Army and finally Shanghai.
From here on we really just know the dates of our flights…
01 March - Shanghai to Sydney
23 March - Melbourne to Nadi, Fiji
01 April - Nadi to Christchurch, New Zealand
Finally, we arrive in New Zealand - for a rest.
